Loki x Baby! Reader The Change of Life or Death
A loud sigh escaped the lips of everyone's favorite fallen prince. He had spend the entire night trying to comfort his one true baby love, (Name) Lokison. She was a sweetheart, always very well behaved since the day he took her in from his Midgardian doorstep. It was quite an interesting predicament, honestly, but in the end he ended up completely falling in love with her.
However, it was moments like these when he sort of regretted taking her in. Moments, for example, like now, when she was bawling her eyes out and absolutely refused to do anything, let alone sleep or eat. He'd only had her for about two days. She wouldn't quit wailing since a 14 hours ago.
And he was definitely feeling it worse than her. Do you have any idea what 14 hours of no sleep does to a single father? More than you could ever hope to comprehend, that's for sure.
So here he was, completely exhausted and at his wit's end to trying to figure this problem ou

Loki paced outside of the bedroom chambers with all sorts of worries on his mind. (Name) was in labor, you see. And as her husband, he assumed that he would be allowed in to support her in the birth of his child. Unfortunately that wasn’t how it worked in Asgard, and so the husband was left to wait outside of the birthing room and simply pace and let the entire world fall apart around him as he wondered if his wife would be okay.
Seems legit to me.
“Brother, would you just calm down? I’m positive that Lady (Name) is alright.” Thor said as he sat by the window, a small sword in his hand as he played around with it.
“Do not try to comfort me, Brother!” He spat back. “She is obviously in pain. And yet, here I am, waiting to see if she is even alive or not!” Loki ran a hand through his hair as he turned on his heel once again. Thor simply shrugged, pondering his brother’s words.
“I still think y

He could hardly believe his ears. The baby was coming. His daughter was coming. Right now. A cry of pain brought his attention back to his (Name), who suddenly doubled over, clutching her stomach. With widened eyes he pushed himself off the bed, gingerly taking her into his arms. He needed to get them out of here. Now.
“(Name), I know you’re not going to like this idea, but I’m going to take you back to Midgard.” He declared, shifting her slightly in his arms as he began to concentrate, focusing on creating another portal.
“B-But, Loki! You can’t do that now! What if S.H.I.E.L.D. cat- Ah! What if they catch you again?” She managed, biting her lip to keep from crying out again. She knew how much he hated listening to her being in pain.
“We don’t have a choice, (Name). The guards will not return to my prison for another three hours. I would feel, believe it or not, much better if I knew you we

“Well, well, well, whatever do we have here?” (Name) froze as she heard the over-smooth voice of her beyond slick husband, Loki, float into the room.
“Oh, dear (Name), won’t you turn around and see what I have for you?” She was reluctant to do so.
“Loki…if that’s mistletoe you have in your hand, we are going to have a very bad evening.” She almost growled. The snicker she heard more or less gave it away as she turned to face him.
And you wouldn’t believe what was in his hand.
“How about an early Christmas present, darling?”
“Loki Laufeyson, this would be the fifth ‘early Christmas present’ this month. I love them just as much as you do--”
“I knew it.”
“--But seriously, it’s not even December yet! And you know how I feel about people and their early Christmas crap in November. …Besides, we can’t do that with Janna stand
